![]() What they managed to do so far is to pair the Toyota screen with the Android phone via bluetooth. The question is now how to display those maps on the car screen. They never wanted the Toyota maps anyway (since those are static), because they they just want to use Google maps (that are dynamic - updated all the time show info about traffic etc). The car version is "standard" -> from what I understand this means that they did not pay for some Toyota based maps. I tried searching online, I think this is the model of the screen: They want to connect the telephone with the car and display Google maps on the big screen in the car. They also have an Android phone (latest version of Android). You need to authorize on the new Toyota app to allow Amazon Alexa, iHeart Radio, Scout GPS.Short story: someone from my family bough a Toyota Corolla 2019 in Europe. You still need the Scout app on your phone. If you have a vehicle that was using Scout GPS Link Navigation (2018 - 2020 Camry, Corolla, Highlander, Sienna). Through the app you will have access to information on your vehicle (service info, remote start if your vehicle is capable & more). The upper right corner of the app is the Profile section where you can edit your information. You can also have multiple Toyota models listed on the app in the garage. Through the app you can subscribe to these services if your vehicle has them. The features on your car if you have Safety Connect, Remote Connect. The benefit of the new Toyota app is that it shows you the capability of your vehicle. Follow the instructions including adding your VIN. If you have not yet had an Entune or Toyota account you can select "Register" on the app. Or you can "reset" your password where they will send you a six digit confirmation code & then you can update your password. Sign in on the new app if you remember your Entune password. The Toyota app is designed for most 2010 model years & newer. Then downloading "Toyota" app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store. You can transition to the replacement version by deleting the old app. The Entune information system on newer Toyota vehicles is discontinued starting December 1st 2020.
